The day
The Mantenga Cultural Village shows the life of the Emaswati people in the 1860s, a love of heritage and culture that carries across generations, and witnessing it is a one-of-a-kind experience. You take a guided walk through the village and learn about daily life and customs while waiting for the traditional tribal dance presentation. Men and women gather for the Sibhaca, a dance that grew from a warrior training routine into a powerful expression of unity and strength. We then head to House on Fire for lunch and to Swazi Candles, a famous candle factory, before starting the drive back to Maputo.
